There comes a point when curiosity deepens.
The work we explore here — coherence, regeneration, embodied alignment — does not originate with me. It is shaped by many teachers, lineages, and traditions, especially those rooted in Indigenous, Black, and land-based wisdom.
If you’re ready to explore beyond this space, I encourage learning directly from the voices and communities who have carried this work long before it entered mainstream language.
This page is a small guide to that deeper exploration.
When you are ready to deepen your journey beyond this space…
Regenerative Systems & Leadership
Laura Storm — Regenerators (cohort 2022 year-long journey) & book: Regenerative Leadership
nRhythm — Regenerative Leadership Fellow 2023 (year-long fellowship), Regenerative Leadership Practices Course, Design Lab
Giles Hutchins — Books: Nature Works, Leading by Nature, and Regenerative Leadership
Much of my early understanding of regenerative systems and leadership was shaped by these teachers and communities:
Indigenous Wisdom
Dr. Robin Wall Kimmerer - Book: Braiding Sweetgrass
As my work matured, I began to recognize the limits of a systems-only lens and sought learning from Indigenous wisdom keepers.
Regeneration is not a new idea.
It is an ancient remembering.
Much of what is now described as regenerative leadership has long existed in Indigenous and Black communities whose knowledge systems were marginalized or erased.
I continue to learn from teachers and leaders of color whose work expands my understanding of land, belonging, power, and relational repair.
When possible, I encourage supporting and learning directly from these voices.
Conditioning & Power
Dr. Rosales Meza - Decolonize Your Mind
Layla Saad - Book: Me & White Supremacy
If you are a white-bodied person and want support going through this work (which I highly recommend), please follow Emily Johnsson at Wish Tree. She holds an annual gathering for white-bodied persons to come together and do the work with open hearts and open minds.
